Meal Plan

Attendees can register for an optional meal plan that will provide four meals throughout the weekend – dinner Friday evening, breakfast and lunch Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. Menus have been pre-selected (gluten-free is available). The cost is $68 per person for the four meal package (meals cannot be ordered separately), and may not be available to purchase on-site. If you are interested, please order during registration to ensure availability.

Dining Options

The 16th Street Mall is Denver’s hub of shopping, dining and entertainment. The Mall’s delicious restaurants, including Maggiano’s Little Italy, Hard Rock Cafe and Rock Bottom Brewery, are all excellent places to take a break. Several smaller cafes can also be found along the street, including Paradise Bakery, Suzy Q’s Deli & Frozen Yogurt and Good Times.

Just Dance!

In addition to educational programming, the NDSC Convention would not be complete without a dance or two! On Friday evening, we will hold our Just Dance! event for all attendees, immediately following the Opening Session. This event is open to all registered attendees. A cash bar will be available for all beverages. Be sure to wear your convention name tag for admittance.

Just Dance! promotes awareness of the value of individuals with Down syndrome.

Through Just Dance! events, self advocates (individuals with Down syndrome) have an opportunity to engage their community and their social network by sharing the message that they truly are “More Alike than Different.”

Join us as we dance to make a difference….your support and contributions will make the difference!

Annual Awards Banquet

On Saturday evening, we will host our traditional Awards Banquet to honor outstanding achievement in the Down syndrome community in various categories. This is a ticketed event, which includes a plated dinner and the awards presentation.

Immediately following the banquet there will be another awesome opportunity for all attendees to dance – no ticket required.

Take Me Out to the Ball Park!

After the Convention closes Sunday, consider heading to the ballpark to see the Colorado Rockies take on the Chicago Cubs. NDSC families can purchase discounted tickets (25% off face value) during Convention registration to sit in our reserved section. What a great way to end the weekend!
